What is the most popular item on your menu?
Fish n’ Chips by far is our biggest seller. We’re a British pub and it’s what the customers love.
What is it about your restaurant that keeps customers coming back?
Our food quality is top notch, and we’ve won numerous awards for great food and service.
What one thing does every restaurant owner need to know to be successful?
Never say no to a customer. The answer should always be yes, and honor special requests.
What is the toughest challenge your restaurant has faced?
Maintenance and upkeep of all the equipment. We have a lot of refrigeration equipment, and cooking equipment, so we have a lot of repairs. It really pays off being a handyman and knowing how to fix just about everything. I was very pleased to find out about Parts Town for this reason.
What strategies have worked best for you on the Internet?
We have a web page, a mobile app web page, and we stay up to date on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Foursquare, and Google +1. I use Hootsuite to keep my daily specials and communications up to date, and I use Constant Contact to send out emails on a regular basis. It is very important to have a strong internet presence.
How has your relationship with Parts Town been?
I have been very happy with Parts Town because they have the parts needed for just about any piece of equipment I might need to repair. I’m able to order on line, and I’ve called with questions and received prompt courteous help. Parts Town has been very helpful in supplying the parts needed to keep my equipment running.
