Congratulations to our July VIP Winners

We would like to celebrate a few of our team members who have been recognized by their peers for putting our Core Values into Practice! Congratulations VIP Winners and thank you for Living Our Values! Here are our winners, and their nomination written by a fellow team member.

Kyle – I would like to nominate Kyle Anderson for a VIP award! Kyle and I have worked together a short time. These past few months have been a pleasure working with Kyle. He is an inspiring leader, who understands the needs of his team, and the Service Segment as whole. He makes sure no one is left out, and continues to celebrate our wins throughout the team. He has been an intricate part of Rocket Launch, making sure the team is up to speed in time for launch. He led UAT and walked around to make sure everyone was okay, or helped when needed. His true passion, for Parts Town, his team and his customers shines through each and every day. Kyle’s upbeat and positive attitude make him a pleasure to be around, and someone who makes Parts Town a fun place to work.

Jeremy – We recently ran into a problem with a systems update in the DC. Jeremy wasn’t planning to work (we hadn’t asked him to), but when I called him at midnight on Saturday and asked him to drive in, he didn’t hesitate. That’s 100% passion for our business. Jeremy worked almost 20 hours that weekend, doing whatever it took to make sure our issues were resolved. To say Jeremy is a hero doesn’t quite capture it – he saved our world that day. I am so grateful for Jeremy’s eagerness to help, his thirst for understanding, his dedication to success, and all the other characteristics that make Jeremy, well, Jeremy. He’s, quite simply, spectacular.

Maurice – Maurice was incredibly helpful last weekend when he joined us for what was supposed to be a few hours on Saturday and it turned into a 30-hour ordeal. He never hesitated, doing whatever we needed whenever we needed it. I am so grateful for Maurice’s kind and collaborative spirit even in times of high stress. Please recognize Maurice with this VIP nomination.

Jason – I’d like to nominate Jason Mallon for a VIP award. Jason is a Talent Acquisition powerhouse! He continuously innovates how to attract and connect with new hires. Jason’s passion fuels him to face challenges head-on. Jason is the definition of a team player: He works in the office outside of required days, he’s the first to suggest a morale-boosting activity for our team, and we can always rely on him (or his daily joke calendar) for a laugh.

Connie – Connie is an amazing teammate, team player, and team leader. Connie always has the back of her people and will make sure their needs are fulfilled before hers. She continuously steps up to cover shifts, takes on the work of all her people, and leads the team to success. Connie is an exceptional employee, that brings lots of knowledge and leadership skills to the organization. She works hard to keep everyone on their toes and continues to grow as a Team Leader. Connie has a heart of gold and is extremely kind to others. She makes the team feel welcomed, loved, and a part of something great! Connie’s passion of helping her customers is unbelievable. She not only knows her 1:1 accounts but those of her teammates as well. When asked, she always knows the answers. Connie is the oil to our machine and without her, we could not function. Connie truly is a VIP not only for our team, group, but this organization. She lives, sleeps, and breathes our Core Values and continues to grow as an exceptional leader.

Michelle – Michelle Shelton has shown true dedication to her role in Institutions since she began less than a year ago.

Michelle’s passion for her job led her to always volunteer to help her team through difficult times. We can always count on Michelle to go “above and beyond” each and every day. She adores every customer and will help them with all her heart. She truly deserves the VIP award in my book! Thank you soooo much, Michelle! You are a SUPER STAR!

Rupa – In the time that Rupa Thomas has been with us, she has consistently demonstrated a high level of dedication, professionalism, and commitment to her work. She has made significant contributions to our team. Her work ethic, leadership skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with team members are truly remarkable and set her apart. She is always willing to go the extra mile and displays a genuine passion for her work. This not only results in high-quality work but also motivates and inspires those around her. Beyond her managerial skills, Rupa exhibits excellent interpersonal abilities. She is approachable, receptive to feedback, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Her positive attitude and spirit of teamwork have greatly contributed to creating a supportive and productive work environment. For these reasons, I strongly believe that Rupa Thomas is an exceptional candidate for the VIP award. I am confident that she will continue to make significant contributions to our organization.

Amber – Amber is an asset to the Ecomm team! She is so driven and passionate, she leaves no stone unturned to bring success. One can feel the difference when working with self-motivated, energy-driven individuals and Amber clearly brings this vibe. She is ready to take on challenges with no hesitation. She easily wears multiple hats, going outside her comfort zone and perfecting the details. And she does this all the time!! Her work ethics are note-worthy! Amber excels at all the Core Values of Parts Town and is always a VIP winner to us.

Kimberly – I would like to nominate Kimberley Rivera for July VIP!

Kim joined us as our Benefits Specialist in September 2022. The passion and enthusiasm she brought on Day 1 remains just as strong today! She has so much knowledge and really loves to share it. Benefits (especially insurance) can be confusing. Kim is so patient and thorough when explaining every detail to anyone who comes her way. She really lives up to her culture title (ask her!). It’s not often that she’s not on the phone or in a meeting, working hard to make sure our townspeople are taken care of and getting the most out of their benefits. I’m so thankful we have Kim on our team – and I’m sure everyone else who has interacted with her feels the same!
