NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. These Official Rules (the “Rules”) apply to specific random prize drawings (the “Drawing”) conducted by Parts Town, LLC, 1200 Greenbriar Drive, Addison, IL 60101 (the “Sponsor”) in conjunction with specific conferences or events (the “Event”) [collectively referred to as the “Parts Town Technician Scholarship Award”]. By entering any of the Drawings, the entrant accepts and agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final in all matters.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to employees, owners and operators of commercial food equipment service/repair companies that have a Parts Town account (“Qualified Entrant”). Qualified Entrant must be eighteen (18) years of age or older, reside in the 50 United States or District of Columbia, and be employed by, own, or operate, a Qualified Entrant company as of the date they submitted an entry. Drawing is not open to the public and is void where prohibited by applicable law. Employees of Parts Town, its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, sales representatives, advertising, sales promotion, and judging agencies, and members of the immediate families (parent, child, sibling, and spouse of each) or households (whether related or not) of any of the above are not eligible.

ENTRY PERIODS: The Parts Town Technician Scholarship Award (the “Program”) begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on December 22, 2022 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on November 3, 2023 (the “Program Period”). The Program Period is divided into Entry Periods (“Entry Periods”) which correspond with the start and end dates of Commercial Food Equipment Service Association (CFESA) (“CFESA”) events until the end of the Program Period.

HOW TO ENTER: Each Event has its own Entry Period. For a list of dates, visit partstown.com/tech-scholarship-award. Enter the Drawing by completing all required information on the Event’s official entry form. Only one entry per Qualified Entrant per event is permitted unless otherwise specified. Sponsor is not responsible for late or incorrect entries. All entries become the property of Sponsor. Information collected in connection with this Drawing is governed by Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

RANDOM DRAWING AND ODDS: Fifteen (15) winners will be selected throughout the Program’s duration according to the Entry Period Schedule. A random drawing will be conducted on or about ten (10) business days before each Event to select the winner[s] from among all eligible entries received with respect to such Event. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winners will be notified via email and/or phone and will be required to electronically sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release (except where prohibited by law) within five (5) days of notification attempt or potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be randomly selected.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering this Drawing, AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, entrants waive all rights to, and hold the Promotion Parties harmless from, any claim, liability, loss, damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages), or expense (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with participation in this Drawing or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. Promotion Parties will not be responsible for: late, incomplete, or incorrect entries; an entrant’s failure to receive prize notices due to entrant’s spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for entrants’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information; technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in this Drawing; by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Drawing; or any typographical, technological, or other error in the publishing of the offer, administration of the Drawing, or announcement of the prize[s]. If, in the Sponsor’s opinion, there is such an error, or there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the Drawing, or if technical difficulties (including viruses and bugs) compromise the integrity of the Drawing, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify this Drawing in a manner deemed appropriate. In the event of termination, winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received as of the date of termination. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning entrant, entries will be declared made by the name on the online entry form.

PRIZE[S]: One (1) winner per event will receive a $1,000 CFESA scholarship and $500.00 cash purse. Sponsor will directly pay CFESA the $1,000, which will be held as an account “credit” for the winner to use for CFESA training courses within 12 months of the award date. In addition, winner will receive a $500.00 check payable within fifteen (15) business days after Sponsor receives signed Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release. No substitution or transfer of prize is permitted except at the Sponsor’s discretion. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Parts Town to use the winner’s name, likeness, and entry for advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Limit one prize per family or household per event. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Only three (3) alternate drawings will be held, after which the prize will remain un-awarded. All income taxes resulting from acceptance of prize are the responsibility of winner.

CHOICE OF LAW AND FORUM: Entrant agrees that all matters arising out of or relating to this Drawing and these Official Rules are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Illinois, without giving effect to any of its conflict of laws provisions thereof. Entrant further agrees that any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising from or relating to this Drawing and these Official Rules shall be brought exclusively in the applicable federal or state courts in Addison, Illinois.
