Cleaning your grill is crucial for food safety. The last thing you need is burnt food bits stuck on the grates. With our Bakers Pride grill cleaning tips, you can have your unit ready to go for the next dinner rush. This guide covers cleaning instructions for CBBQ models specifically.
Grill Cleaning Instructions
After every use, it’s important to complete these Bakers Pride grill cleaning tasks:
Top grates: Remove the top grates from the unit and place into a sink. With a stiff bristled brush and warm, soapy water, thoroughly clean the grates. Don’t use any abrasive cleaners or pads as this can degrade the metal finish.
Radiants/covers: Since these are exposed to high temperatures, they rarely need heavy cleaning. If there's stuck on food, use the cleaning instructions above to get them clean.
Body: With a stiff bristle brush and warm, soapy water, gently wipe down the body of the unit. Don’t use any chlorine, bleach or other caustic chemicals or abrasive sponges.
Water pans/stand: Remove the pans from the unit and clean like you would the top grates.
