Stero undercounter dishwashers pack impressive cleaning power in a small footprint. In the rare case that your unit is giving you trouble, this guide to Stero undercounter dishwasher error codes will help you identify and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

This guide is for undercounter SU-L and SU-H dishwasher and SG glasswasher models.

Door Open

Description: This error message indicates that the door is open. To solve this issue, close the door to the unit.

LOW RINSE TEMPERATURE

Description: The unit displays this error message when the temperature is low for 3 consecutive cycles. Although the machine will continue to run cycles, contact a technician to service the unit.

LOW RINSE TEMPERATURE

Description: When the display reads “LOW RINSE TEMPERATURE,” the temperature has been low for 10 consecutive cycles. Even though the machine will continue to run cycles, be sure to check the water input and call a technician to service the unit.

WASH TEMP SENSOR

Description: This error is displayed when the wash temperature probe is out of range. Although the machine will continue to run cycles, call a technician to remedy the issue.

BOOSTER TEMP SENSOR (SU-H model only)

Description: When the booster temperature probe is out of range, the “BOOSTER TEMP SENSOR” error will display. The unit will continue to operate, but if you want to remedy the issue, schedule a service appointment with a qualified technician.

RINSE TEMP SENSOR

Description: This error code indicates that the final rinse temperature probe is out of range. While the machine will continue to run cycles, be sure to call a service technician to remedy the issue.

FILL ERROR 

Description: The display will show the “FILL ERROR” if the unit times out before the unit is completely filled, resulting in low water in the booster. In this case, the machine won’t operate: it will only power down. To solve this issue, schedule an appointment with a technician.

DRAIN ERROR 

Description: This error message indicates that the water level in the unit won’t come up due to a drain error. When this happens, the machine won’t operate. Since it will only power down, contact a technician to resolve the issue.

SUMP LEVEL SENSOR 

Description: The undercounter dishwasher unit displays this error message when the sump pressure switch is out of range. In this case, the unit won’t operate: it will only power down. Call a service technician to remedy the issue.

BOOSTER LEVEL SENSOR - Service Required

Description: The “BOOSTER LEVEL SENSOR” diagnostic message indicates that the booster pressure switch is out of range, preventing the unit from operating. Since the unit will only power down, schedule an appointment with a qualified technician to solve the issue.
