Antunes Egg Station Cleaning
The Antunes Egg Station lets you perfectly prepare eggs so you can make delicious breakfast sandwiches and more for your restaurant. In order to keep it running smoothly and ensure the quality of your food is top-notch, it should be cleaned consistently. Below are the instructions on how to clean your Antunes Egg Station quickly and easily.
These instructions are for Egg Station models ES-600, ES 602, ES-604 and ES-1200.
Daily Cleaning
Each day, your unit needs certain cleaning tasks performed to keep it at its peak condition. Here are the steps to take:
- Step 1. Scrape the griddle - While the unit is on and hot, spray water onto the griddle surface and use a scraper to remove all food debris.
- Step 2. Power down the unit - Turn off the egg station and unplug the power cord. Then wait for the unit to fully cool down.
- Step 3. Disassemble - Give the griddle surface a final scraping and then remove the egg rings, egg rack, cover and service pans.
- Step 4. Clean the platen - Use a sponge or cloth to wipe down the griddle surface.
- Step 5. Clean the exterior - Use a damp sponge or cloth to wipe down the unit exterior.
- Step 6. Clean the components - Wash, rinse and air dry the egg rings, egg rack, cover and service pans.
- Step 7. Reassemble the unit - Reinstall the service pans, cover, egg rack and egg rings in the reverse order of how they were disassembled.
