Instructions

Remember to change your unit’s filter once every 6 to 12 months to keep your unit running smoothly.

  • Step 1. Turn off the unit - Press the On/Off button to power down the unit.
  • Step 2. Unplug the machine - Disconnect the power cord from the outlet in order to minimize the risk of electrical hazards.
  • Step 3. Access the filter - Open up the unit by removing both the top cover and the filter cover. To remove the top cover, grasp it with both hands and pull upward. Release the filter cover by inserting your fingers through the hole at the top of the unit and then pulling it toward you.
  • Step 4. Remove the old filter - Take out the existing filter by pulling it straight out of the unit.
  • Step 5. Take the new filter out of the packaging - Prepare the new filter for installation by pulling off the protective plastic wrapping and then discarding it.
  • Step 6. Install the new filter - Slide the replacement filter into the unit by pushing it forward evenly from the bottom and top. Check for proper installation by making sure the tabs on the filter are facing outward.
  • Step 7. Reinstall the filter cover and top cover - Return the filter cover to the unit by inserting it into the fixed groove at the bottom of the machine and pushing it forward until it clicks into the top groove. Then, put on the top cover by lowering it down onto the machine, ensuring the Carrier logo is at the front of the unit.
  • Step 8. Restore power to the machine - Plug the power cord into the outlet to prepare the unit for use.
  • Step 9. Power on the unit - Restart the unit by pressing the On/Off button.
  • Step 10. Reset the air purifier - Press the Sleep and Auto buttons simultaneously and hold them until the red filter light goes off, indicating the unit is reset. This normally takes 5 seconds or more.
  • Step 11. Resume normal operation - You may now use the unit normally.
