The Unit Doesn’t Heat and the Pilot Light is Off
- Check that the unit is plugged in.
- Check the circuit breaker and fuse.
- Check that the master switch or control knobs are in the “ON” position.
The Unit Doesn’t Maintain the Proper Food Temperature
- Ensure the controls are set to the proper settings.
- If the unit is filled with water, make sure to give it extra preheating time.
- Allow the unit to preheat for up to 45 minutes before checking the temperature.
- Check that the food pans were inserted at or above the desired temperature.
- Make sure the food is kept covered.
- Check the area around the unit for air drafts from vents, etc and block the air from blowing onto the unit.
- Check the voltage to make sure the unit is getting accurate power.
