Electro Freeze Shake Machine Cleaning

The Electro Freeze countertop milkshake machine is likely your customers’ favorite piece of equipment, as it has the ability to make delicious shakes no matter the season. To keep it working like it should and ensure it’s safe to use, it’s vital that you clean it regularly. Not to worry, though: we’ve got all the steps you need to follow to keep it squeaky clean. Daily Cleaning Procedure

The shake machine should be cleaned and sanitized at least once at the end of each day.  

  • Step 1—Mix a solution of warm water and mild dish soap. 
  • Step 2—With a clean cloth, use the cleaning mixture to wipe down the back wall of the unit, switch lever bracket and any other surface that may be dirty. 
  • Step 3—Use the cleaning brush that came with your unit to scrub the sides and bottom of the agitator.
  • Step 4—Repeat Steps 2-3, but use clean water to rinse these areas.

Daily Sanitizing Procedure

  • Step 1—Prepare a sanitizing solution in a clean container by following the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Step 2—Wash your hands in the sanitizer before cleaning.
  • Step 3—Wash the back wall of the unit, switch lever bracket and any other surface that may be dirty. Let the solution sit on the surface for at least one minute.
  • Step 4—Use the cleaning brush that came with your unit to scrub the sides and bottom of the agitator.
  • Step 5—Fill a clean cup or container with the sanitizing solution and immerse the agitator and spinner shaft in it. Let them soak for at least one minute in the solution.
  • Step 6—Use a clean, damp cloth to rinse off all sanitizing solution from the unit’s surface. Rinse the agitator and spinner shaft. 
  • Step 7—Let the unit air dry completely.
