That’s why it’s so important to get it back up to speed if it’s acting up. Problem: Unit isn’t Working

Causes

  • Unit isn’t connected to power
  • Blown fuse
  • Tripped breaker

Solutions

  • Plug in the unit
  • Check for a blown fuse and have it replaced
  • Check the circuit breaker

Problem: Product Mix or Water is Leaking from Drain Tube to Drip Tray

Cause

  • Damaged or improperly installed beater shaft seal

Solution

  • Replace or reinstall the seal

Problem: Product Mix is Leaking at the Dispensing Head

Causes

  • O-ring in dispensing head is faulty
  • Dispensing head isn’t installed properly

Solutions

  • Replace the o-ring
  • Reinstall the dispensing head

Problem: Dispensed Product is too Soft

Temperature of the product is 28°F (-2.2°C).

Causes

  • Condenser is dirty or blocked
  • Torque control isn’t set firmly enough
  • Part failure
  • Refrigeration system has a leak

Solutions

  • Clean the condenser and check for any blockages
  • Contact an authorized service agent

Problem: Product is Dispensing too Slowly from Dispensing Head

Causes

  • No product in hopper
  • Product is too cold

Solutions

  • Fill hopper with product

Problem: Dispensed Product is too Hard

Causes

  • Torque control is erratic or set too firmly
  • Low suction pressure in refrigeration system

Solution

  • Contact an authorized service agent

Problem: Freezer is Running Continuously and Product Keeps Getting Colder

Causes

  • Plunger isn’t fully closed
  • Relay or starter points are stuck
  • Torque control isn’t set properly or is faulty
  • Suction pressure is too low

Solution

  • Completely close the plunger
  • Contact an authorized service agent
  • Contact an authorized service agent
  • Contact an authorized service agent

Problem: Beater and Compressor Motor don’t Work When Dispensing

Causes

  • Plunger switch is defective or out of adjustment
  • Time delay is defective

Solutions

  • Contact an authorized service agent

Problem: Beater and Compressor Motor Work only when Dispensing

Cause

  • Torque control is defective

Solution

  • Contact an authorized service agent

Problem: Compressor won’t Start and Hums Intermittently

The compressor is cycling on overload.

Causes

  • Improperly wired
  • Line voltage is low
  • Start capacitor is open (single phase only)
  • Compressor is defective
