This information is for electric countertop models like the G13 and the OC-2HG half-size convection oven with hotplate and griddle cooktop. 

Griddle Won’t Heat / Turn On

  • Unit is turned off - Turn the unit on.
  • Griddle is unplugged - Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
  • Circuit breaker is off or tripped - Reset the circuit breaker. If issues persist, schedule an appointment with a licensed electrician.
  • A controller or internal component is damaged - Contact an authorized technician to service the unit.

Griddle Won’t Heat Evenly

  • Control knobs aren’t set to the desired temperature - Set the control knobs to the desired temperature.
  • A controller or internal component is damaged - Schedule an appointment with a licensed technician to service the unit.

Griddle Drips Grease

  • Grease drawer is full - Empty the grease drawer.
  • Grease drawer isn’t installed - Install the grease drawer.
  • An internal component is damaged - Call an authorized technician to remedy the issue.
