Supplies

Follow the cleaning procedures and time intervals as outlined below for improved performance and hygiene. If your machine isn’t used for a few days in a row, be sure to complete all of the cleaning tasks outlined below prior to resuming use.

Daily System Cleaning

Know that maintaining the mixer, milk system and foamer is part of the programmed system cleaning process; however, if you wish to rinse one of these parts individually, you can do so by choosing the appropriate program under the Care Menu.

  • Step 1. Access the Care Menu - Open the Care Menu by pressing the “Care” button in the upper left-hand corner of the touchscreen.
  • Step 2. Select “Cleaning program” - Press “Cleaning program” in order to advance to the next screen.
  • Step 3. Choose “System cleaning” - Select “System cleaning” to begin the maintenance procedure.
  • Step 4. Confirm On/Off after cleaning - Decide whether you want the unit to stay on or switch off after cleaning by pressing either “On” or “Off” at the bottom of the touchscreen.
  • Step 5. Empty the grounds container - Lift up the dispense head, pull out the grounds container, throw out the grounds and then return the container to the unit.
  • Step 6. Put the milk pipe into the plug-and-clean socket - Open the milk chiller and pull out the milk pipe. Then, pull down the left flap on the unit, insert the milk pipe into the socket and turn it clockwise to lock it into place.
  • Step 7. Add a cleaning tablet - Insert a special cleaning tablet into the slot at the top of the machine.
  • Step 8. Begin the cleaning program - Select “OK” on the touchscreen after adding the special cleaning tablet; the system cleaning cycle will then begin automatically.
