FryMaster FilterQuick Polishing Procedure

Preventative maintenance doesn’t just mean simple daily cleaning in a commercial kitchen. It goes well beyond that, and all of it is vital in order to keep deep fryers running at their best. Thankfully, most of the maintenance won’t be too difficult to do, so you can get the kitchen sparkling clean with ease. However, while it may be easy, it can definitely help to have the steps to guide you through the Frymaster FilterQuick polishing procedure. That way, you can ensure you’re properly maintaining your Frymaster fryer.

These steps are intended for the Frymaster FilterQuick model.

Frymaster FilterQuick Fryer Polishing Procedure 

To polish the fryer safely, you need to perform the following steps:

  • Step 1. Hold the left and right arrow buttons - When the controller display says READY, press and hold the left and right arrow buttons simultaneously.
  • Step 2. Press YES - Press the YES arrow when the screen displays POLISH NOW?
  • Step 3. Skim the vat - Use a skimmer to skim the vat and then press the up arrow under CONFIRM.
    • Note. The controller will display OIL TOO LOW if the oil level is too low.
  • Step 4. Press the button - When the controller display reads START POLISH, press the blinking LED button. The vat will then start to drain, and the display will read DRAINING. This will also start a 15-minute timer.
  • Step 5. Vat will refill - Once the polishing cycle is done, the vat will begin refilling, and the display will read FILLING. 
  • Step 6. Vat will heat up - After filling up, the vat will begin heating up. The display will read LOW TEMP while the oil is heating.
