Programming a TurboChef Bullet
Setting up new equipment so it works better for your business can be intimidating. The flashy touchscreens and multitude of buttons can feel overwhelming. However, with a proper guide, setting up your commercial oven doesn’t have to be so scary. Programming Cook Modes on the TurboChef Bullet
Getting your unit to better cook your business’ recipes is easy with some quick programming.
- Step 1. Select MANUAL - On the touchscreen, press the MANUAL icon button.
- Step 2. Set the temperature - Select the box with the temperature and use the keypad to type in a desired cook temperature. Then press ENTER to save.
- Step 3. Set bottom temperature - Select the box with an offset temperature. Use the keypad to set a bottom temperature offset to allow the bottom IR element to provide additional heat for browning. Then press ENTER to save.
- Step 4. Set airflow - Use the slider on the touchscreen to set the airflow percentage.
- Step 5. Set microwave - Use the slider on the touchscreen to set the microwave percentage.
- Step 6. Set the timer - Select the box with the time setting. Then, use the keypad to type in the desired cook time. Press ENTER to save.
- Step 7. Save - Press SAVE TO MENU to save the newly programmed cook mode.
- Step 8. Create a name - Select the top name bar and use the keypad to name the cook mode. Then press ENTER and SAVE.
- Step 9. Assign to a group - Select a group for the cook mode.
- Step 10. Save it - Select a box to save the cook mode in.
Programming WiFi for the TurboChef Bullet
A TurboChef speed oven can be connected to the WiFi by performing the following steps:
- Step 1. Select “i” - Press the “i” icon on the oven screen while it is off or in manual mode.
- Step 2. Log in - Press LOGIN and enter the password 9428. Then press ENTER.
- Step 3. Select settings - Press the SETTINGS tab.
- Step 4. Select WiFi - Press the WIFI NETWORK button.
- Step 5. Turn on the WiFi - Switch the toggle switch to ON to enable the WiFi.
- Step 6. Enter network name - Select the SSID and enter the name of your WiFi network. Then press ENTER.
- Step 7. Set security type - Select your network’s security type.
- Step 8. Enter WiFi password - Select WIFI PASSWORD and enter the password of your WiFi network. Then press ENTER.
- Step 9. Save - Press SAVE to connect to the WiFi.
Programming TurboChef Bullet Date and Time
The touchscreen display can show the correct date and time if properly programmed.
- Step 1. Select i - Press the i icon on the oven screen while it is off or in manual mode.
- Step 2. Log in - Press LOGIN and enter the password 9428. Then press ENTER.
- Step 3. Select settings - Press the SETTINGS tab.
- Step 4. Select date - Press the DATE option.
- Step 5. Set the date - Enter the date following the MM/DD/YY format and press ENTER.
- Step 6. Select time - Press the TIME option.
- Step 7. Set the time - Enter the time using the 24-hour format and push enter to complete the date and time set up.
