Eversys Espresso Machine Troubleshooting and Error Codes

The Eversys espresso machine brings an added layer of sophistication to your restaurant or coffee shop. That’s why if something is wrong with your unit, you need to troubleshoot it fast. To help you diagnose the symptoms and solutions, we’ve compiled a list of common troubleshooting error codes for your Eversys espresso machine so you can quickly reference the code and get back to serving customers.

This guide is for the Enigma, Shotmaster, E’Line and Cameo models.

Error Code: E-000

Problem

  • Cameo Models—Left bean hopper is missing.
  • Enigma, Shotmaster & E’Line Models—Rear bean hopper is missing.

Solution

Place the bean hopper back in its appropriate place, especially during cleaning.

Error Code: E-001

Problem

  • Cameo Models—Right bean hopper is missing.
  • Enigma, Shotmaster & E’Line Models—Front bean hopper is missing.

Solution

Place the bean hopper back in its appropriate place, especially during cleaning.

Error Code: E-010

Problem

Software in the unit is too old.

Solution

Update the software. If a newer one isn’t available or there are issues, contact an authorized service technician.

Error Code: E-011

Problem

Hydraulic unit is disconnected and the water pump is switched off.

Solution

Contact an authorized service technician.

Error Code: E-012

Problem

Milk unit is disconnected and the water pump is switched off.

Solution

Contact an authorized service technician.

Error Code: E-013

Problem

Brewing unit is disconnected.

Solution

Contact an authorized service technician.

Error Code: E-014

Problem

Grinder unit is disconnected.

Solution

Contact an authorized service technician.

Error Code: E-016

Problem

Power configuration isn’t detected.

Solution

Check the X5 connector and power box. If they’re disconnected or seem damaged, contact an authorized service technician.

Error Code: E-095

Problem

Software update is in progress.

Solution

Wait until the software has fully updated. If updating is taking longer than it should, contact an authorized service technician.

Error Code: E-096 and E-196

Problem

For E’4, E’6 and Shotmaster Pro models: right display is deactivated.

Solution

Contact an authorized service technician.

Error Code: E-097 and E-197

Problem

Machine type isn’t set.

Solution

Set the machine type. If issues arise, contact an authorized service technician.

Error Code: E-098 and E-198

Problem

Software update hasn't started.

Solution

Start the software update. If issues arise, contact an authorized service technician.

Error Code: E-099 and E-199

Problem

Communication error has occurred.

Solution

Turn the unit off for 10 seconds, then turn it back on.

Error Code: E-100

Problem

Pressure sensor is reading at zero.

Solution

Contact an authorized service technician.

Error Code: E-102

Problem

Steam boiler is empty and a timeout has occurred. 

Solution

Turn the unit off for 10 seconds, then turn it back on. If issues arise, contact an authorized service technician.

Error Code: E-103

Problem

Timeout has occurred while the steam boiler is filling. 

Solution

Check the water supply and press “Continue.” Turn the unit off for 10 seconds, then turn it back on. If issues arise, contact an authorized service technician.

Error Code: E-104

Problem

Steam heating timeout has occurred. 

Solution

Turn the unit off for 10 seconds, then turn it back on. If issues arise, contact an authorized service technician.

Error Code: E-105

Problem

Steam boiler connector is missing.

Solution

Contact an authorized service technician.
