Problem: Grinder Isn’t Grinding
Causes
- Unit isn’t plugged in
- Thermal cut-out has tripped
- Electrical fuse has tripped
Solutions
- Plug in the unit
- Turn off the grinder, unplug the unit and let it cool down for 30 minutes. Once it’s cooled down, plug the grinder back in and turn it on. If the issue persists, contact an authorized service technician.
- Check the fuse and switch it back on or change it as needed. If the issue persists, contact an authorized service technician.
Problem: Grinder is Making Noise but Isn’t Grinding
Causes
- Grinding mechanism is clogged OR grinding setting is too fine
- Build-up of ground coffee
- Foreign object in the grinding mechanism
Solutions
- Change the grinding setting to the coarsest grind and start grinding. Wait for the grinder to clear itself, then change the setting to your desired consistency.
- Turn off the grinder and clean the spout with a brush. Change the grinding setting to the coarsest grind and start grinding. Let the grinder clear itself, then change the setting to your desired consistency.
- Clean the grinder to remove the foreign object. If the object can’t be removed, contact an authorized service agent.
Problem: Grinder Isn’t Grinding Finely Enough
Cause
- Grinding discs are worn down or need to be readjusted
Solution
- Contact an authorized service agent
Problem: Grinder Isn’t Grinding Continuously OR Grinding is Being Interrupted
Cause
- Defective trigger switch
Solution
- Contact an authorized service agent
Problem: Decreasing Grinder Accuracy
Causes
- Grinding mechanism is clogged
- Damaged grinder spout OR defective flapper
Solutions
- Turn off the grinder and clean the spout with a brush. Change the grinding setting to the coarsest grind and start grinding. Let the grinder clear itself, then change the setting to your desired consistency.
- Contact an authorized service agent
Problem: Bean Hopper Cannot be Inserted
Cause
- Beans are stuck in the bean hopper intake
