Cleaning the Condenser Coil
The condenser coil on your refrigerated prep table should be cleaned every 90 days or sooner as needed.
- Step 1—Assess the level of dust and debris that’s on the condenser coil. If it’s a minimal amount, it can be wiped away with a cleaning brush or microfiber clothes. If it’s a larger amount, use a vacuum or compressed air.
- Step 2—If your condenser coil has significant grease build-up, use a degreaser specifically made for condenser coils. Follow all product instructions on how to use it.
- Step 3—Clean the fins on the condenser coil and check for any damage.
Gasket Maintenance
- Step 1—Wipe down door gaskets with warm soapy water and a cleaning cloth.
- Step 2—Check for any damage, cracks or signs of wear. Never use sharp objects or tools on gaskets.
