TurboChef i3 & i5 Error Code Troubleshooting

Error codes aren’t always a reason to sound the alarm. Sometimes the issue causing it is simple and can be corrected on your own. The codes are meant to help you easily figure out what’s wrong with the oven. Each code has a different meaning, and as long as you know what it is, you can solve the problem. F1: Blower Running Status Bad

  • Circuit breaker is off or tripped
  • Oven power is interrupted
  • Blower motor isn’t running
  • Turn on or reset the breaker
  • Reset the oven
  • Contact an authorized service technician 

F2: Cook Temperature Low

  • Circuit breaker is off or tripped
  • Oven cavity air nozzles are blocked or dirty
  • Oven door is out of alignment 
  • High limit is tripped
  • Blower motor isn’t running
  • Turn on or reset the breaker
  • Clear away blockages and clean the nozzles
  • Open and close the door a few times before securely closing it
  • Reset the high limit
  • Contact an authorized service technician 

F3: Magnetron Current Low

Microwave circuit is defective

Contact an authorized service technician 

F4: Door Monitor Defective

Door switches are out of order

Contact an authorized service technician 

F5: Magnetron Oven Temperature

  • Cool air is blocked from the oven
  • Rear cooling fan guard is blocked or dirty
  • Remove anything obstructing cool air to the unit
  • Clean the guard and clear away blockages

F6: EC Temp

  • Cool air is blocked from the oven
  • Rear cooling fan guard is blocked or dirty
  • Remove anything obstructing cool air to the unit
  • Clean the guard and clear away blockages
