Globe Immersion Blender Troubleshooting

From mixing to emulsifying and everything in between, Globe immersion blenders offer the functionality and versatility needed to get the job done. Even though these units are known for their dependability, issues may still arise occasionally. This information is applicable to GIB500-12, GIB750-14, GIB750-16, GIB750-18 and GIB750-22 models.
Blender Not Working
- Unit is unplugged - Plug in the power cord. Once the unit is plugged in, restart it by holding down the “ENABLE” and “ON/OFF” buttons.
- Machine is overheated - Start by releasing the “ON/OFF” button, then unplug the blender and allow it to cool down before plugging it in again. Begin operation by holding down the “ENABLE” and “ON/OFF” buttons.
Blade Isn’t Spinning
- Food product is stuck in blade - Disengage the “ON/OFF” button, unplug the unit, pull off the bottom and use a spatula to dislodge any food product in the blade.
Drive Shaft Not Rotating
- Blending stick is jammed - Unplug the unit, take off the blending stick and use your fingers to spin the blade to test the rotation of the drive shaft. If there’s interference within the unit that’s preventing the blade from spinning, replace the blender.
