How to Clear the Error Codes
Knowing what your Master-Bilt freezer error code means is all well and fine, but turning it off is what everyone really wants to know. Fortunately, the solutions are easy, quick and painless:
- Panic alarm – You can disable the manual or auto panic alarm by opening and closing the door or by pressing the silence button on the controller. However, first double-check that there is no one injured or stuck inside.
- Door alarm – Close the door or press the silence button. The alarms will turn off, and the error code will clear.
- Note: To clear the alarm by opening and closing the door, door contacts must be installed.
- “HI” or “LO” alarms – The alarms will automatically shut off once temperatures fall back within normal operating range. Press the silence button to clear the message.
- AC power failure alarm – Pressing the silence button will deactivate the alarm for 1 minute. To get it to permanently turn off, you’ll have to restore power to the AC. If the source of a power outage is unknown, please contact an authorized service technician.
