Stainless Steel
Never use steel wool or any harsh abrasive material to clean the stainless steel. It is also important to never use chlorinated, citrus based or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the coating and scratch the panels.
- Step 1. Wipe surfaces - Wipe the surfaces with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Always rub with the grain of the stainless steel.
- Step 2. Wipe with dish soap - For stuck on grease and debris, use a mild dish soap and warm water on a soft cloth to wipe clean.
- Step 3. Dry unit - Using a dry cloth, make sure to thoroughly wipe the unit dry.
Food Wells
Food well interiors need to be cleaned on a daily basis to prevent build-up from clogging your unit. Some best practices to follow during cleaning include:
- Use non-abrasive cleaner and non-abrasive pads
- Follow instructions when using a sanitizer
- Don’t leave cleaners in wells overnight or for an extended time
- Never use steel wool
- Never pressure wash the wells
Drain
Drain lines should be routinely checked for any obstructions, as these can cause blockages and back up the lines. Also check that no drain lines have become loose or disconnected, which can happen during normal use.
